Running Barefoot

"are you out of your mind?"
"what is bothering you, you have problems?"
"you will screw up your foot!"
"finally this guy go extreme!"
"Can't you just be normal?"
"Why?"

Why?

Because, I want to learn how to run properly, naturally.
Because, I don't know how to run.
Because, running with running shoes is not fun anymore, once I have run barefoot.
Because, I felt being a free-er man running barefoot.
Because, my feet want to feel the ground.
Because, my feet had been reborn!
Because, the running shoes, sounds like a hoax and i fall for it, but no more!
Becasue, I want to know what the foot tell me.
Because, I want to run as long as i am able to.

It is never easy running barefoot. Especially when i have pick up bad running habbit with shoes. On top of that, in Malaysia, usually, only homeless people and those poor soul who lost their mind or shoes wandering around barefoot. But friends, i am totally sane, please don't worry.

I am learning, and re-learning. I enjoy the learning curve very much. Yeah there are pain and soreness sometimes, but isn't that what life teach us? You can't have 'good time' all the time!

If you like to find out more about barefoot running, or feel like trying, please, visit Barefoot Ken Bob site at http://runningbarefoot.org/ .

I bought 2 pairs of Vibram Fivefingers. I ran in VFF once, it block pain and make me felt safe for sure, but i can't be sure if my running technique is correct. So they will have to wait a long long time until i am confident enough to run in them, again.

My running shoes is sitting on the rack gathering dust, any idea what to do with them?
